Denmark Shire is located on the south coast of Western Australia approximately 400 km south of Perth and 50 km west of Albany. It has a population of approximately 5,000 people. Denmark is surrounded by a spectacular coastline, green farmland, vineyards, old growth karri forests and the William Bay National Park. The main local industries include tourism, viticulture, horticulture, beef/dairy/sheep and tree farming, and a wide range of cottage industries.
