Jakub Szczesny is one of Poland's leading young architect/designers and works across the fields of sustainable design and public art. Szczesny's innovative projects in Europe and the Middle East, particularly his water-related projects in Poland, Israel and Palestine, have achieved critical and popular acclaim. His latest public space interventions focus on environmental consciousness, local social tensions, place branding strategies and performative architecture. Szczesny is a member of the Warsaw-based, Centrala Designer Task Force, an interdisciplinary group of designers.
